A user-friendly and efficient search engine allows you to find premiums and benefits which have been granted to healthcare professionals, healthcare organisations and patient organisations.

The different options  available to you are :

  • Searching via the name of a healthcare professional, healthcare organisation or (as from 2018) patient organisation: please enter the person’s name or NIHDI-number or the enterprise number in the search engine. The search result will indicate, for each category of premiums and benefits, the total amount received annually and per company by the healthcare professional, healthcare organisation or patient organisation.
  • Searching via the name of a pharmaceutical or medical devices company: please enter its name or enterprise number in the search engine. The search result will indicate a list of all of the healthcare professionals, healthcare organisations and patient organisations having received premiums and benefits from the selected company, with full details per category of premiums and benefits.

The data will be available for consultation for a period of three years, after which they will be automatically deleted from the register.

Why is it that I cannot find my healthcare professional or organisation in the register ?

It is possible that you cannot find a healthcare professional or organisation on this platform for one of the following reasons:

  • This healthcare professional/organisation has no connection with the industry,
  • This healthcare professional/organisation does have a connection with the industry but of another nature than that declared nominatively on our site (eg: within the context of research and development where there is no nominative publication).

Furthermore, it is important to emphasise that it is not because a healthcare professional is not listed in the register that he/she is not formed continuously. If it is true that the costs of participation in scientific events are often supported by industry (subject to compliance with strict legal and ethical rules), this is however not always the case. Healthcare professionals can also ensure their continuing education at their own expense.
